I think that what you wrote was actually very logical. But, what about this? what if you were to write a killer headline? I ain't saying your content is not good, however what if you added a title that grabbed folk's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is kinda plain. You could peek at Yahoo's front page and see how they write article headlines to grab viewers interested. You might add a video or a pic or two to get people interested about what you've written. In my opinion, it would bring your website a little livelier.
