I believe what you published made a lot of sense. However, think on this, suppose you wrote a catchier post title? I ain't suggesting your information isn't good, but what if you added something to possibly grab a person's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is kinda vanilla. You might look at Yahoo's front page and see how they create post titles to grab people to click. You might add a video or a pic or two to grab readers excited about everything've written. Just my opinion, it would bring your posts a little bit more interesting.
